Games have this worrying habit of appearing then disappearing over the years (Oh, Beyond Good & Evil 2, where art thou?) – but sometimes they pop up in a surprising reappearance.
Back at E3 2010, Sony demonstrated a Move-exclusive game called Sorcery – back then it wasn’t exactly a game so much as it was a technical demo, to show off the Move’s capabilities, but it was hinted at that it would become a full-fledged title.
Of course, when it didn’t show up at E3 2011, we all sort of assumed it fell off the bandwagon at some stage.
Not so, says Sony‘s Eric Levine to IGN; “Yes, Sorcery is still in development and we’re very excited to show everyone how this PlayStation Move exclusive game is coming along.”
There you have it. According to the report, the game will be playable at Sony’s Holiday Showcase in New York in December, which means that development has been going on for some time.
That’s quite awesome, considering the E3 demonstration years back drew a lot of positive feedback from onlookers and testers alike.
MyGaming is currently working on a PS Move game exposé, we’re just trying to gather up the courage to dance around in front of the TV – so check out for that soon.
