Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 in our sights

23 November 2011

What happens in Burma, stays in Burma.

At least until someone makes a game about it and releases it on Xbox 360, PC and PS3. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is the sequel to 2010’s Sniper: Ghost Warrior from City Interactive.

This time around, gamers will be heading into the deep, dangerous jungles of Burma to fish out weapons of mass destruction which are changing hands through shady deals. You are the lone sniper sent to intercept these dodgy doings by any means necessary. Because what would any military game be without shooting baddies and saving the day?

And you can bet your top-dollar that Sniping is going to be a big part of it.

The game will be running off of CRYEngine3 (That’s Farcry 3’s engine, if you didn’t know) so expect some stunning visuals and detailed environments as you follow out your orders, and the poop hits the fan.

Check out the screenshots that came through our window along with this bit of news for a taste of what to expect when the game launches in 2012.
