Last night Bioware released a very short teaser video for an unannounced game, and now according to speculation it looks like it may be based on EA‘s iconic Command & Conquer franchise.
Superannuation spotted a potential clue on an EA employees’s LinkedIn profile. The individual in question works for Victory Games; a studio known to be working on a reboot of the Command & Conquer series.
However, the employee in question listed Bioware as her place of work, and the entire reference has since been removed from her profile.
The teaser trailer features a tank in an urban environment shooting at armoured personal carriers, which is pretty much the sort of thing we expect to see from Command & Conquer games.
Although Bioware is known for its RPGs, there is nothing technically stopping the developer from branching out, and its own cover statement reads as follows:
“The BioWare label is a division of EA which crafts high quality multi-platform role-playing, MMO and strategy games.”
The game is to be officially unveiled on 10 December, 2011. In thea meantime you can check out the teaser trailer over on SpikeTV.
