Rumour control: EA working on Dead Space FPS, adventure, flight sim

EA has big plans for the Dead Space brand beyond Dead Space 3, including an FPS, an “Uncharted-like” action adventure, and a… flight sim.

In the words of CEC Engineer First Class Isaac Clarke, “Lolwut.”

That’s according to Kotaku‘s industry spies, who claims EA has issued an order to make the franchise “bigger and better”, presumably by putting the name onto anything and everything from now on.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’d totally buy a Dead Space duvet cover.

Although EA hasn’t actually officially announced Dead Space 3, it’s pretty much an open secret that the game is in development over at EA Visceral Studios in Redmond.

A few months ago, an Israeli TV crew who visited the premises ran footage of concept work from the game on national TV, and a week after that, Siliconera’s moles leaked some information about the game’s setting, revealing that it would be leaving space and taking place on an icy planet called Tau Volantis.
