Resistance 3 Brutality Pack DLC hits PSN tomorrow

Remember Resistance 3? Yes, I know it’s easy to forget such things in the wake of all the big games that have come out recently, but the PS3-exclusive shooter is still very much alive, and getting a decent DLC injection tomorrow.

If you mosey on over to PSN tomorrow, you should be able to grab the Brutality Pack DLC, which will be adding some new features to the game – including a single-player and co-op survival modem where you’ll be hit by waves of hungry grims.

Add to that a Mick Cutler skin and sledgehammer to use in all the game modes, as well as a neat PS3 theme, and you’ve got a pretty cool package.

If you know the band, Mastodon (I have never heard of them), seven of their tracks will be featured too, which has apparently gotten Insomniac Games CEO, Ted Price, quite excited.

“I have to admit that I’ve been a longtime Mastodon fan,” he writes on PlayStation’s EU blog, “But it wasn’t until I saw them open for Queens of the Stone Age that I became a true uberfan. These guys are masters of their craft and when you see them play live its mind blowing.”
