Bethesda has previously stated that we can expected the next The Elder Srolls V: Skyrim patch to drop before the end of January, but we still have no idea what to expect from the update.

After 3 weeks of complete silence from Skyrim’s development team, a tweet was sent out promising that information about the incoming patch would be shared “very soon”.

Bethblog’s Twitter account responded to a query about patch 1.4 saying: “Should have some more info to share very soon.”

We expect the patch will fix some of the numerous bugs and glitches still present in Skyrim. The PS3 version is seemingly in most need of attention, with players still reporting a variety of problematic bugs.

The PC-only Creation Kit is supposedly also in the pipeline for a January release.
