Naughty Dog, a developer now probably best-known for the Uncharted series, has been hard at work with Mass Media Inc. and have finally announced a date for the release of the much anticipated Jak and Daxter Trilogy (known in NTSC territories as the Jak and Daxter Collection).

SA fans can expect the PS3 exclusive to hit the shelves on the 22nd of February for a price-tag of around R350.

The trilogy packs the first three games in the series, remastered in 720p HD visuals, sporting a fixed frame-rate of 60fps in normal mode, 30fps in stereoscopic 3D mode, and over 100 trophies for players to collect, including three platinum ones for the truly determined.

The release marks the platformer’s 10th anniversary and is bound to be a jovial trip down memory lane with the return of  the two lovable cohorts and their timeless witticisms.
