Hours ago, word began spreading fast that CD Projekt had revealed they are working on The Witcher 3.
However, it turns out that someone, somewhere got their signals mixed, and no such thing really happened.
Speaking to VG247, Cd Projekt VP of Business Development Michal Nowakowski said: “Now that is a surprise – I was at that conference as a matter of fact and I can assure you nothing of the sort was announced. I can 100% confirm, we have not announced Witcher 3.”
He xplained that “the purpose of the conference was to unveil the details of X360 launch of Witcher 2 with the release date of 17th of April 2012, launch on the same day of PC Enhanced Edition, and reveal of some new features for both versions we did not speak about before. That is it.”
Publisher Warner Bros has announced that The Witcher II: Assassins of Kings will be released for Xbox 360 on 17 April, 2012
