Cd Projekt RED showed off a fancy new trailer along with the announcement of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360.

The new CGI game intro, directed by BAFTA winner and Oscar nominee Tomasz Baginski, was followed by the announcement that the Xbox 360 version will include a large number of new never-before-seen cinematics.

Gameplay has also been extended through the addition of new quests and locations, while “the plot becomes even more complex with the introduction of major new NPCs who intensify the struggle for power in the Northern Kingdoms.”

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition will be coming out on Xbox 360 on 17 April 2012.
