You call yourself a gamer? That depends – have you played Eric Chahi’s Another World? Because if you haven’t, well, you’re no gamer. It’s the rules.
But you’re in all kinds of luck today, because the 20th Anniversary Edition has had a price drop on iTunes, from $4.99 to $1.99 (about R15), and if you go out and get it now, nobody will ever have to know you didn’t play it before.
The iOS version features features both the original and upgraded HD visuals, as well as two new difficulty modes – one of them harder than the original game, that presumably also shoots your significant other when you win. As a bonus extra, the game’s logo looks like an 80s’ metal band logo.
The game’s also available on the UK iTunes shop for £1.49 (R18 or so), but not available on the local iTunes shop because practically nothing is.
