Valve’s Team Fortress 2 team has announced that it is working on something brand new for 2012. All we know about the secret project is that it’s not a hat and it is not a map.
“From this we can only conclude that the TF2 team is working on some ungodly hat-map hybrid that you can wear on your head while you run around in it. You heard it here first. Also last, because they just told us it’s not that either. But it’s really cool,” reads the official announcement on the Team Fortress 2 blog.
All bets are on regarding what the new content will be. Could we be looking at a new game type, or even class? Only time will tell.
Team Fortress 2 is currently available on Steam as a free-to-play game, and is supported by an active local community and local servers.
