Last month it was announced that Max Payne 3 would be missing its March launch window and pushed back further into the year – to sometime in May.
Well, you’ll be happy to hear that in Take-Two‘s latest earnings report, Max’s next dark and broody trip into, well, dark and broodiness has been given official dates.
The Xbox and PS3 release is now happening on 15 May 2012 – which is a Tuesday, hence the Euro (thus SA) release will likely be the Friday, 18 May 2012.
The PC version of the game will follow on 29 May 2012, with the Euro following the Friday, 1 June 2012.
Considering these dates were in the earnings report, they should be pretty much set (as they’ll form part of the next quarter earnings and business types don’t usually mess around with this stuff) – but you never know.
In related news, while there’s still no release date set for GTA V, T2 boss Strauss Zelnick was quoted saying “Grand Theft Auto V is making great progress.”
Analysts predict a release in this financial year, which ends 31 March 2013. So not a small window at all, then.

Haha yes, sorry, I’m still living in February xD thanks 🙂
