PSM teases “mystery shooter sequel” reveal

Mark your calendars for 6 March, everybody, because it’s the day PSM3’s latest issue is out, with a big “mystery shooter sequel” reveal and an “exclusive look at one of 2012’s hottest shooters”. Oh oh oh, what could it be? I can count the possibilities on, like, three fingers at least.

But it’s probably a new Call of Duty game, and it’s also probably Black Ops 2. The ad shows two regular bullets, which is almost definitely a really clever and subtle way of indicating it’s part two of something.

Rumours have been going around since the middle of last year that Treyarch is already at work on Black Ops 2, which seems consistent with Call of Duty’s alternating launch roster between them and Infinity Ward. Also, last month it was confirmed that Activision had secured the blackops2.com domain.
