In case you have not been paying attention, Sony is gearing up to release the PlayStation Vita, and it is planned to hit local stores next week Wednesday, 22 February.

Of course a new platform launch is only as successful as the titles that usher it in, and fortunately, things are looking rather special for Sony’s new mobile console.

The pick of the reviews seems to be Uncharted: Golden Abyss, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who is familiar with Naughty Dog’s work, or who saw the early preview code that was displayed when the console was announced. So far Golden Abyss has received a 9.5/10 from PlayStation Universe as well as Destructoid, not to mention an 8.5/10 from IGN, an 8/10 from GamesRadar and Eurogamer, and a 10/10 from PlayStation Lifestyle.

Wipeout 2048, Hot Shots Golf World Invitational, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Modnation Racers: Road Trip and Little Deviants have also received highly positive critical feedback so far.
