Ubisoft has announced that its iPad board game based on the popular Assassin’s Creed franchise is free right now, for a limited time only.
The game has been designed to take advantage of the iPad’s large display and multi-touch interface, and is not available on smaller iOS devices. The real-time board game allows players to take part in political battles with key characters and locations from the original video game franchise.
The game offers up approximately eight hours of narrative driven game time, and as players progress though it they unlock a variety of artwork created for the Assassin’s Creed games. Players can also go online and play against friends or strangers from all over the world in real-time battles.
You will have to create a US iTunes account if you want to download Assassin’s Creed Recollection as there are no games available in the local iTunes store. Check out or guide to creating a US iTunes account from South Africa.
