Somehow, a bit of Mass Effect 3 DLC was accidentally launched on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, more than two weeks ahead of the game’s release. It’s been yanked since then, but not before revealing the identity of a super-secret squad member.
Aaaaaaaaand…

It’s a Prothean! You know, the allegedly extinct species that built the mass relays and the Citadel and all that stuff.
Apparently rumours of their extinction may have been exaggerated, because at least one of them managed to get himself into stasis before the rest of the civilisation went bang, and survive the next 50,000 years or so.
That’s got to be a bit of a culture shock.
The DLC, From Ashes, is included free with the N7 Collector’s Edition and PC Digital Deluxe Edition, and tagged at 800 MSP for everybody else.
