Game sale madness

The end of 2008 was a tough period for local Xbox 360 owners. News of game prices hitting the R900 mark was a tough pill to swallow for most. Luckily, the respective parties, AKA Microsoft and MiDigital have since backtracked, and are now adamant that local game Xbox 360 games will continue to retail for R699.

Still, R699 is a significant outlay for a game, driving many local gamers to look at overseas specials.

There is light at the end of the tunnel however, with two local e-tailers in particular making a broad selection of games available at very reasonable prices.
