Indie Royale Alpha Collection pilots new concept

27 February 2012

Indie Royale, the pay-what-you-want novelty that has ridden in on the coattails of the Humble Indie Bundle’s success is turning out to be not as much of a novelty as some might think.

Continuing with its fortnightly bundle releases, and after the recent Valentine’s Bundle, comes the Alpha Collection, consisting of three unreleased games:

Towns

A city-building and management sim with RPG elements drawing inspiration from Dungeon Keeper, Diablo, Dwarf Fortress and Majesty.

3079

A futuristic, open-world action first-person RPG that is, “an alleged lovechild of MineCraft and Fallout.” Expect blocks and lasers.

Wyv and Keep

A pixelated 2D co-op puzzle platformer considered to be reminiscent of a fiendish version of Blizzard’s classic The Lost Vikings.

As with previous Indie Royale bundles, there is a minimum price that goes up or down depending on the generosity of others.

All games are available on PC, Mac and Linux. No Steam key for the games this time, but as always, a Desura key is available.

And, as you’d expect, purchasing the bundle gives buyers access to all future updates for each of the games.

Rock on, indie fans!
