8ta announced today (28 February 2012) that it has extended the “Go 3 Gigs Big” data promotion in response to the need for affordable entry-level prepaid data products.
8ta’s Go 3 Gigs Big data promotion offers 2GB of any-time data and 1GB of “Midnight Surfer” data for use between 12am and 5am for R149.
This promotion was supposed to run until the end of February 2012, but the company has now extended the deal.
8ta could not immediately say until when the promotion has been extended.
Amith Maharaj, senior managing executive at Telkom Mobile, said their “Go 3 Gigs Big” prepaid promotion is one of various offers 8ta has developed to cater for the needs of specific customer segments.
“Other current data offers include the 10GB contract bundle for R199 per month and the 60GB+60GB prepaid bundle for R1,800,” concluded Maharaj.
