A couple of weeks ago an incident occurred which caused thousands of Star Wars: The Old Republic players to begin panicked quests to find a coveted white light saber crystal.
One random player was spotted wielding the white light saber, and naturally, every Jedi or Sith warrior wanted one of their own.
As it turned out, the player in question acquired the special crystal unfairly, and BioWare patched it out without really explaining what had happened.
The good news is that BioWare has announced that it will reintroduce the white light saber crystal.
The crystals will be available in exceedingly limited quantities, and they will cost a ridiculous amount of in-game credits.
The white, or “silver” light saber is expected to be reintroduced with the imminent 1.1.5 update.
“Small stocks of these extremely rare and expensive crystals have started to appear in Vendor stocks at the primary Imperial and Republic transportation hubs. With no new shipments expected for several months, those wealthy enough to afford these crystals may find themselves in possession of a highly sought-after collectable,” reads a post on the Old Republic blog.
