The local gaming community is full of potential to take initiatives to grow the game scene here in South Africa, and one Giancarlo Groenewald has take his first steps in doing his part.
Through the one-man company, Land of Gamers, Groenewald has started South Africa’s very first online-streaming gaming radio station.
Land of Gamers is a content contributor to MWeb’s GameZone.
The station is set to provide coverage on local clans, talks about the latest games and pretty much everything gaming related.
To start with, the radio station will broadcast between 16h30 and 20h00 during the week, and 12h00 to 16h00 on the weekend.
The station is also looking for DJs, so if you’re interested in having your voice streamed online, you can check the website (linked below) for more information.
We haven’t had the chance to listen to a broadcast just yet – have you? Share your thoughts and opinions on the forums or in the comments below.
