BioWare has revealed that exactly 665 people worked on its recently launched Star Wars themed MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic – and that’s excluding voice actors.

The revelation was made during a GDC panel discussion. BioWare also provided a detailed breakdown of the project staff count.

  • 30 Production
  • 75 Designers
  • 80 Engineers
  • 40 Platform
  • 10 Localization
  • 10 Audio
  • 140 Artists (Both internal and outsourced)

On top of that, 321 actors gave their voices to more than 4,094 characters. The Old Republic features more voice work than every single BioWare game prior to it combined.

The game reportedly cost over $200 million to make. In January, EA announced that the game had upwards of two million active subscribers.
