Epic Mickey 2 confirmed for multi-platform release

23 March 2012

Disney and Junction Point have confirmed that Epic Mickey 2 will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. No mention of WiiU or PC release was made.

Epic Mickey 2 will return players to the twisted Wasteland, a spooky world inhabited by forgotten characters from old theme park attractions.

Players will recognise the locations from the previous game, although earthquakes and other disasters have supposedly transformed them .

Fans of the first game will be pleased to learn that the problematic camera is being fixed in Epic Mickey 2.

“We’ve had a team working on the camera from literally the day we finished the first game,” said series creator Warren Spector.

“They’ll be working on it until the day we ship the second game. (There have been) over 1,000 specific changes made to the camera. Our goal is that you will not have to touch the manual camera controls even once to play through the main story path of this game.”
