Microsoft has yanked the curtains back on the next big Xbox LIVE Arcade promo, and iiiiiiiiiiiiiit’s… Arcade NEXT! The Xbox LIVE Arcade promotion you’ll never leave the house without! Now with aspartame! 100% lead-free!
According to Xbox LIVE overlord Major Nelson, these are totally this season’s “most anticipated” XBLA games, so let’s not get the fact that they’re also this season’s only XBLA games get in the way of that.
Kicking off next month, the lineup includes:
- Trials Evolution (1200 MS Points) on April 18
- Bloodforge (1200 MS Points) on April 25
- Fable Heroes (800 MS Points) on May 2
- Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (1600 MS Points) on May 9
Minecraft’s pricetag has apparently doubled on the PC version sometime during console development. I guess it’s an exclusive feature, and even better with Kinect!
The promo also introduces the new, increased Gamerscore and Achievements caps for XBLA titles, bumping those up to a maximum of 400 (from 200) and 30 (from 12) respectively. Goody goody gumdrops.
