The Verge gaming TV show comes to an end

28 March 2012

The Verge, a South African video gaming television show resident on channel Vuzu on DSTV, has announced it is coming to an abrupt end.

Confirmed via the show’s official Twitter and Facebook pages, the locally produced show will air its final episode tonight (28 March 2012), with a special segment looking back over the programmes’ four year history.

Host Pippa Tshabalala tweeted: “The Verge will not be back on. This is last episode.”

The Verge, produced by Don’t Look Down, hit the local DSTV channel Vuzu (formerly GO TV) in 2009 and was received with excitement from the local gaming community. The recurring hosts included Mo, Lalla Hirayama and AKA alongside Pippa Tshabalala.
