NAG magazine launches on Zinio, secures new distribution partner

NAG magazine, a stalwart South African gaming, computer and technology magazine, celebrates its 14th birthday this April and has a few announcements to make before the cake is passed around.

NAG has partnered with On the Dot Distribution (OTD), who will take over the magazine’s nation-wide distribution from the February 2012 issue.

NAG head honcho Michael James said: “Our new partnership with OTD came about following the closure of the distribution side of the business by our previous distributor, Junkmail Distribution.

“Having been with JMD for 13 years, the move was significant for NAG and the change in distribution caused an anticipated negative effect on availability and sales for the February issue. However, March’s distribution was far smoother and we are confident that this will be a good move for NAG and its readers.”

NAG has also launched on Zinio, a digital magazine reseller, beginning with the February issue.

“We have already had a great response to our launch on Zinio, so we are excited about the possibilities of this new partnership going forward,” James continued.

“With Zinio, our digital readers receive exactly the same material they would in print. Additional exclusive features like video, audio and live links are planned for the future.”

Finally, NAG has also changed service providers for its website, NAG Online.

James concluded: “These significant developments and new partnerships are all exciting steps forward for NAG and we look forward to new successes as the year progresses.”
