“Halo Infinity” and “Spartan Ops” registered by Microsoft

5 April 2012

Microsoft has registered a host of new domains which could reveal some information or titles about upcoming entries into the Halo franchise.

HaloInfinity.co.uk, HaloInfinityMultiplayer.co.uk and SpartanOps.org were some of the names the Halo publisher scooped up.

Additional domains registered include: HaloInfinity.org, HaloInfinity.mobi, HaloInfinity.de and HaloInfin

Official Xbox Magazine also point out that, as chronicled in the Halo: Glasslands novel, Infinity is the name of an advanced human starship commissioned after the end of the Covenant war in 2553. It’s also the name of a multiplayer level exclusive to the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Joystiq also point out that HaloInfinity.com is currently being used as a site for Japanese men curious about balding issues.
