The hits for PC just keep on coming. This whole weekend PC has been getting a lot of love, and the good times continue with a PC release of critically-acclaimed Dark Souls.
This news comes courtesy of German gaming magazine PC Action, which they advertise as an exclusive scoop.
The game will be called “Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition” (an apt title, as anyone who has played the crazy difficult game can attest), and will apparently feature new bosses. The rest of the game will be a straight copy, and will be available sometime in August.
This release could be the result of a petition organized by PC gamers, which allegedly had 46,000 signatures in January. The publisher responded with encouragement and a forum admin for Namco Bandai promised to make it “a personal objective to make sure every relevant people [sic] in Namco Bandai Games is in touch with this formidable effort”.
Could a gaming petition finally have actually achieved something?
