Borderlands 2’s Mechromancer class revealed

10 April 2012

A press event over the weekend revealed a new class for 2K Games’ upcoming sequel, Borderlands 2.

According to GameInformer, the new class is a young girl who appears to be part human part machine. The character will have the ability to control a large robot known as Deathtrap (D374-TP).

The character (pictured below) is set to be free post-launch DLC for anyone who pre-orders the game, with a set price (yet to be announced) for those who don’t.

Gearbox also revealed that the game will feature unlockable clothes and gear, which can be fitted out to your character throughout the game.

Borderlands 2 is set for a local September release.
