That earthquake the other day? It happened because, for the first time ever, a petition actually made a difference and the corresponding paradigm shift altered time-space and a couple of continents.
After over 92,000 people signed a petition for it, Namco Bandai has officially announced a Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC, shipping out on 24 August. It comes with extra monsters! It also comes with DRM…
It’s a Games for Windows Live title. I suppose you could think of that as one of the new monsters. Yes, there’s already a new petition to get rid of it, with almost 10,000 signatures.
“GFWL is unpopular, difficult to use, inconvenient, has terrible online support (a key feature in Dark Souls), and is downright unpleasant,” reads the plea. “After anxiously awaiting a PC release for this fantastic game it feels like a real slap in the face hearing Dark Souls will use Games for Windows Live.”
Two petitions making a difference about the same thing? Be careful, this could cause black holes, people.

So as it stands, no sale. Don’t want. No longer care.
I don’t sign faggy petitions; and I don’t beg.
