StarCraft II DGL Champions Cup quarter finals kick-off

The StarCraft 2 DGL Champions Cup heads into the business end of the competition, with some of the scene’s familiar faces preparing to battle it out.

The top bracket consists of Rob ‘PandaTank’ Botha, with his eventual opponent being the winner between Kyle ‘HellsHound’ Haward and Ryan ‘CryTT’ Odoherty, the second bracket qualifiers.

The bottom half of the bracket will go head to head in order to make the semi-finals.

Familiar opponents Travis ‘Shase’ Weedon and Marius ‘Stripe’ van der Merwe make up the final bracket. These two have played one another on an number of occasions and should result in another interesting encounter.

The winner of these two matches will face off in the semi-final.

In terms of the first leg, Botha and Haward placed first and second in Pool A respectively, while first place in Pool B was held by Weedon with Malan coming second.

Van der Merwe took up the third spot in Pool B just two points behind the leaders.
