Maaaaaan, somebody over at BT Games is in big trouble. On Monday it was God of War IV on pre-order, then this morning it was Dead Space 3 available on pre-order, and now it’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2 available on pre-order.
None of those games have been officially announced by their respective developer or publisher, which puts BT Games in the awkward position of admitting they’ve stuffed up or pretending the CEO is really a cyborg terminator from the future. I think the cyborg terminator story is probably the better option.
There’s not much information on the pre-order page, which says only that the game is the “Latest Release in the Need For Speed Franchise” and lists it for a PC release. Bizarrely, the publisher is named as 2K Games and not EA, which does kind of undermine the credibility of the whole thing.
BT Games has previously also leaked the Jak & Daxter HD Collection and Mass Effect 3 multiplayer content ahead of official announcements.
