Diablo III Collector’s pre-orders back online – numbers limited

19 April 2012

With Diablo III nearly upon us (launching 15 May), we caught up with SA’s online retailers to find out whether or not there was any chance of gamers laying hands on the very limited collector’s edition of the game.

Many retailers already had their first run of pre-orders sold out within days, but some have managed to keep a few Diablo III Collector’s Editions back for those who were caught napping the first time.

Kalahari.com was first out the gate with their Diablo III Collector’s Edition pre-order – currently on offer for R639.95. A Kalahari.com representative confirmed that copies are extremely limited, with less than 30 copies available at the time of publication.

BT Games confirmed that they will have more Diablo III Collector’s Edition available very soon, and that interested gamers should keep an eye on their mailer today (19 April 2012), or check it out directly via their website – BT Games mailer page. Again, quantities will be limited, with less than 100 copies available.

Takealot told MyGaming that they currently do not have any Diablo III Collector’s Edition left for pre-ordering. Zaps Online confirmed the same, having sold out their allocation of the Diablo III Collector’s Edition back in January.

Both Takealot and Zaps Online do of course have the standard edition of the game on sale.

Exclus1ves also confirmed that they have no stock of the Diablo III Collector’s Edition, but their standard edition of the game is currently on special – Diablo III standard on Exclus1ves.
