No Diablo III beta key? No problem. This weekend – and this weekend only! – everybody gets in. Everybody with a Battle.net account, anyway, but it’s free to get one, so why not.
“Beginning this Friday everyone is invited to log in and help us put the game and servers through their paces in this three day stress test as we march toward the game’s release on May 15,” reads the official announcement.
The public open beta runs from Friday, April 20 (today) at 21.00 (SAST) until Monday, April 23 at 19.00 (SAST).
All you have to do is log into Battle.net, create a BattleTag and download the 7GB game client.
“You’ll be able to log in, team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13 as you fight to save the world from the impending demonic invasion,” said Blizzard.
Saving the world from an impending demonic invasion? That does sound a bit more exciting than my plans to vacuum the flat.
