Proving that anything it can do once, it can do twice, Risen 2 has been delayed for Xbox and PS3 again. It’s just like magic!
The game was first supposed to launch on console this month, but the launch was pushed forward to the end of May for reasons unknown, and now again to 3 August, also for reasons unknown. Although… oh. Oh gosh, you don’t think it has something to do with the Titans, do you? I knew they’d come back. I knew it. I told mom to keep little Billybobishlial inside, and now he won’t be coming home for supper no more.
Yeah, I’ve no idea where that came from either. I blame Monday.
To make up for the delay, the Xbox and PS3 versions of the game will pack in some extra content, including an episode dubbed “The Air Temple” featuring “several hours of additional gameplay”. Goody.
The PC version of the game is unaffected by the delay, and will be hitting digital distribution shops and real shops on 27 April, as previously scheduled.
