New Ninja Gaiden 3 DLC released to appease fans

25 April 2012

Team Ninja’s recent Ninja Gaiden 3 has received a bit of criticism for leaving the series’ roots behind, but a lot of new gamers have found the that the new installment has provided a great access point to the notoriously difficult franchise.

New DLC, entitled the Ultimate Ninja Pack, is available now and adds a bunch of additions to the game to please both Ninja Gaiden newcomers and veterans.

Ultimate Ninja adds a new harder difficulty level to challenge players, as well as to test your combat skills in two new Ultimate Trials for co-op play.

The studio has remedied the “lack of weapons” complaints by adding downloadable content that grants players to use a number of new weapons, armour and headgear options.

The great thing is that all this DLC is free, so you won’t be spending your hard earned money on some razor sharp ninja claws, even though we all probably would.

The Ninja Gaiden 3 demo is also now available from the Playstation Store and Xbox Live, allowing anyone to try out Ryu Hayabusa’s tight little ninja slippers.
