Remember back in January, when a bunch of Chinese factory workers threatened to chuck themselves off the roof after a wage dispute? They’ve only gone and done it again.
This time, about 20 workers took to the roof of a Foxconn factory in Shenzhen for 26 hours to protest a management decision to move production inland to rural locations, where wages are lower. It was expected that the workers would accompany the move, but more than 200 employees were unwilling to relocate.
The workers apparently wanted to be reassigned to other factories in Shenzhen or be released from their employment contracts, according to the country’s labour laws. Although Foxconn was able to reassign 150 workers to other local facilities, around 50 were left without work or any prospects.
Next time you go over to switch on your gamestations, just remember that somebody was willing to die for it.

Most boards have some Foxconn parts or other.
To think that with a simple raise in pay these workers’ lives would be so much better.
Scumbag Communism.
