Skyrim Kinect update screams onto Xbox Live today

2 May 2012

Dragonborns can rejoice, as the Kinect update which integrates voice-recognition into Bethesda’s open-world RPG is available right now on Xbox Live.

If the recently announced Dawnguard DLC wasn’t enough to celebrate, the new update lets players bellow out their dragon shouts as if taking on the winged, undead and frozen foes right in your living room.

Weapons can also be changed using voice commands, as well as navigating your inventory, maps and commanding AI allies.

French, Italian, German and Spanish versions are also currently in the works and should be available in the next few weeks, if you’re into throwing out an accented ‘Fus Ro Dah’ every now and then.
