The handbags are already starting to swing between EA and Activision after the recent reveal of Black Ops II.
Electronic Arts global product manager Kevin O’Leary tweeted his thoughts on the newly announced Call of Duty game, obviously looking for a little bit of banter between the camps of the rival publishers.
“Poor [Black Ops II], you look tired, you should take a year off and rest,” said O’Leary, as he took a little swing at the upcoming futuristic installment into the series everybody loves to hate.
The message was only up briefly, but as things on the internet go, five minutes is five minutes too long.
Activision and EA will once again be going head-to-head in the FPS genre come November, with Activision set to release Black Ops II and EA bringing Medal of Honor: Warfighter to the party.
