PC Gamer UK have revealed their latest cover which features a long awaited sequel – Company of Heroes 2.
The magazine shows some first in-game images as well as details of the yet-to-be officially announced sequel.
The scans of the magazine came from a Reddit user who got his hands on the latest issue of PC Gamer, and then went and unselfishly flaunted his inside info to the world.
According to the cover story, the game is set on the Eastern front during the height of World War II, where some of the most violent battles across Stalingrad, Smolensk, Kursk and Moscow took place.
The game is said to have “True Sight”, as players will only be able to see what their soldiers see, leaving what may be behind the next building or treeline unknown.
“We want more authenticity, we want more realism, we want more tactical improvements,” lead designer Quinn Duffy said in the article.
No official or specific details for Company of Heroes 2 has been released from THQ, although there is a giant “Release 2013” which features in the article.

I see the focal army will be the red army on the eastern front. but what’s with the first picture? looks there might be some American game play as well.
I wouldn’t mind a remake of some of the western camps as well.
