Sony preparing three Killzone games

8 May 2012

It’s inevitable that Sony’s big FPS franchise will continue with future Killzone games, but what can we expect from the beloved series?

What we do know is that three Killzone games are in the works at Guerilla Games, along with the help of first-party studio Sony Cambridge.

It’s also known that two of the three games are being developed for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita respectively, with the third speculated to be a possible PlayStation 4 game.

Siliconera have also said that Sony is preparing to show their new Killzone game very soon, as the company is busy recording a new teaser for an upcoming instalment into the Killzone franchise.

An unnamed source also reveals that “the upcoming title takes place after the events of Killzone 3”, and that the trailer has a female voiceover with “ties to the Helghan Autarch”.

The clues of a PS3 follow-up to the events of Killzone 3 lead one to assume that the new game will most probably be Killzone 4.

Hopefully we’ll get some more titbits when this year’s E3 expo swings around in June, as that would be an ideal time for Sony to release more Helghast fury.
