2K have announced that a playable demo for Spec Ops: The Line is now available on the Playstation Network and for Xbox Live Gold members.
The demo will become available for all Xbox Live members on May 15, 2012.
Loosely based upon Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, Spec Ops the line features soldiers who have to endure the harsh realities of war and the human condition.
The surroundings also play a pivotal role as players battle their way through post-sanstorm-apocalyptic Dubai and are able to use sand to their advantage, such as shooting out a window to bury enemies. The dangers also apply to the players though, as the tough conditions could also lead to your own demise.
Spec Ops: The Line is scheduled for a local release on June 26, 2012.
