Arguably the most anticipated game of the last decade, Diablo III, has broken pre-order records for Blizzard Entertainment.
The action RPG has set a new company-wide record as the game’s pre-orders have exceeded that of any previous release from the publisher.
Despite all the delays, many gamers have continued to put their faith into the dungeon-crawling series after Blizzard promised a high-caliber experience and even gave PC gamers a chance to try out the game in an open beta session.
The hype for Diablo III has continued to build over the last couple months, and local gamers will also be itching to get their pre-orders, although BT Games has alerted their customers that some Diablo III Collector’s Edition pre-orders may not be fulfilled on launch day.
Either way, we’re pretty sure eager PC gamers will manage to get their hands on the game one way or another.
So let’s expect a lot of absenteeism come next week Tuesday – this guy definitely won’t be at work.
