Valve’s recently released Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC, for the mind-bending puzzler Portal 2, has resulted in over 38,000 new levels.

The DLC add-on allows players to build and customize their own user-generated levels, and has clearly already become a favourite pastime for Portal players.

There has also been 1.3 million downloads of user-created levels since the DLC launched only a few days ago.

All custom levels can be browsed through the Steam Workshop.

Valve are also holding a Workshop sale, with Portal 2 marked down 66 percent this weekend, while Skyrim is marked down 33 percent
