Adding even more weight to the rumours that a Luigi’s Mansion sequel is in development for Wii U, a retail outlet has listed the game with a pre-order option available.
Appearing on UK games store Play, the listing is highlighted by the fact that it states the game is for the Wii U platform.
Last year, Nintendo did announce that a Luigi’s Mansion sequel was in the works for the 3DS, but no word was given in regards to a Wii U version.
The listing could be a complete accident (something many retailers are familiar with), but it could also be a leak revealing that the 3DS game will also be featuring on Nintendo’s upcoming console.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 will see the wacky inventor-scientist Professor E. Gadd return to ghost research, again sending in the less-famous of the Mario Bros. duo, armed with torchlight and vacuum, in order to help clean up (no pun intended) a host of different poltergeists.
