Even though Saints Row: The Third hasn’t even been out for that long, it seems as if the next installment in the over-the-top action series is on the horizon.

According to a Volition artist’s LinkedIn page, Saints Row 4 will be heading to all current-gen platforms, namely Xbox 360, Ps3 and PC.

The information appears on the profile of David Payne, who is a Lead Prop & Weapon Artist at Volition Inc.

The game has not been officially announced, but the appearance of the game name on the CV pretty much confirms the existence of such a project.

Saints Row: The Third fared incredibly well for THQ, as the game exceeded sales expectations, making a fourth instalment an obvious endeavour.

Volition are also currently working on ‘Enter the Dominatrix’, a new new stand-alone retail expansion for Saints Row: The Third.
