Over weekend, a new TV ad showcased Medal of Honor: Warfighter to the world, showing off some things we’ve already seen, and some we haven’t.
The trailer itself features all the ingredients necessary for a modern-day military shooter: gunfire, explosions, hostage situations, shouting and slow-motion breaching.
The fact that EA went with some heavy metal, as opposed to the standard-fare dubstep (which can be found in every trailer from FIFA to Pokemon these days), doesn’t break any moulds, but is a refreshing change.
All jokes aside, the game is using DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine, making it look gorgeous considering all the military clichés.
The game is set to launch locally on October 26, with the trailer revealing that players will receive a US Navy Seal Sniper unlock if the game is pre-ordered.
