The upcoming sequel to THQ’s underground horror shooter Metro 2033 is building up quite a stir after the original generated a cult status amongst FPS fans.
The game featured pressure-powered weapons and an atmospheric experience that many games have tried to replicate since.
The sequel, titled Metro: Last Light, is looking to honour its predecessor’s legacy by delivering a frightening and compelling shooter that is bigger and better than the original.
In preparation for the follow-up, THQ have released a teaser for a live-action short film which chronicles a part of the Metro story-arc.
The full movie will go live later this evening (around 5PM), and should act as a good backdrop to the game, which is scheduled for a first quarter release in 2013.
THQ are also expected to show more of Metro: Last Light at E3.
