Guild Wars 2 is having a second public beta weekend, allowing PC gamers to get another stab at the MMORPG before its release.
Starting on Friday 8 June at 21:00 CEST (20:00 BST) until Monday 11 June at 08:59 CEST (07:59 BST), eager gamers can once again jump back into Tyria for the second time since the first beta weekend that took place in late April.
Of course, there’s a catch if you want to participate. You need to have pre-purchased any edition of Guild Wars 2, and redeem the pre-purchase code which will be sent from NCsoft regarding additional information about downloading the client and account registration information.
This will grant access to public beta testing periods and head-start access to the game when it finally launches. In addition to access to the Beta Weekend Events, players will receive three-day Headstart Access prior to launch, and the exclusive Hero’s Band in-game item.
There is currently no firm release date for Guild Wars 2, as beta testing will help get the title polished up for launch.
MyGaming’s Hugo Brand got some hands-on time with the game during the previous Beta weekend. Check out his impressions.
