The E3 2012 expo is almost upon us, and like all game developers around this time, THQ is gearing up to show off their flagship titles. We’ve just received a batch of pre-E3 Metro Last Light screenshots to get us excited for the big show.
To set the stage for this batch of screens, THQ sent only this sentence along with the release:
“Forced into an uneasy alliance with the young Red Line office Pavel, Artyom must journey across the hostile Moscow surface in a bid to reach the station-city known as ‘The Theatre’.”
About Metro Last Light
The Metro 2033 sequel, Last Light, takes place beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro; the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within.
Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above.
But rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power: a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever.
As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to our survival – the last light in our darkest hour…
